Jerry H. Smith, age 69, of Cottonwood passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, April 8, 2017.

 

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 2 P.M. at Howard Grove Freewill Baptist Church on County Road 55, Cottonwood, AL. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2017, from 5 – 7PM at Ward Wilson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mount of Olives in Cottonwood, AL.

 

Mr. Jerry Smith was born April 13, 1947 to the late Milton “Red” and Edna Smith. He was a graduate of Cottonwood High School. He retired from both the Air National Guard as a Master Sergeant and from Pemco, where he worked for 43 years. He was a beloved husband and father leaving behind his wife of 36 years, Felicia C. Smith, a son, Brian Crawford wife Tammie, a daughter, Heather C. Lewis husband Tate B. Lewis, four grandchildren, plus many more family and friends.

 

Heaven has just received a great and honorable man.

 

Family will be accepting flowers.
