Jerry Money

 

Jerry Money age 73, a resident of Dothan died Friday evening April 27, 2018 at his residence after an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, April 30, 2018 at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Columbia, Alabama with the Rev. Kyle Robertson officiating and Family First Funeral Care directing.  The family will receive friends in the church sanctuary from 10:00 A.M. until service time.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Money was born in Ashford, Alabama son of the late Edward Money and Lucy Walker Money.  Jerry retired from Alabama Food Service in Montgomery, Alabama as a truck driver and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Mary Ann Money of Dothan, four daughters Renee Lamb, Cynthia (Jeff) Powell, Jeri Ann Money and Taylor (Jacob) MacFadden all of Dothan, four sons Ricky Money of New Orleans, Randy Money Malone, Fl. Terry Money of Dothan and Jerry Lynn Money of Columbus, Ga.,  his sisters Geraldine (Charles) Rogers, Shirley (Roy) Norton all of Ashford, Pam Sullivan of Montgomery, two brothers Freddie (Marilyn) Money of Columbia and Kenneth (Glenda) Money of Tallahassee, Fl, fourteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.  Mr. Money was also preceded in death by a brother Homer Money.
