On May 9, 2017, the Lord called Jesse Albert Richardson, III to join him in his heavenly home.

Born July 12, 1981 in Dothan, AL he graduated from Ashford High School and worked at Northside Wal-Mart for 14 years until his health declined 5 years ago. A victim of Cystic Fibrosis , he fought a long hard battle. Jesse had a double lung transplant in 2014, making him able to enjoy 3 more years. To our family and all those who knew him he was our super hero and was known for his wit, charm, and smile. To know him was to love him. Our love for him will never end. He will always be with us.

Graveside services will be 11 am Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Crestlawn Cemetery with Gary Frith officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday at Sunset Funeral Home from 10am-11am.

Survivors include his mother and father, Jesse, Jr. and Janet Richardson; his brothers, Jacob Richardson, and Cody Jackson; his grandparents, David (Melba) McDonald of Ashford, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. He is also survived by his Mayo Clinic family and special dear friend Stacia Lucas of Jacksonville, FL.

Robert Byrd of Sunset Funeral Home, (334) 983-6604, is in charge of arrangements. Please call us or visit www.SunsetMemorialPark.com for more information.
