Jessie Jeanette Ogburn, 89, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 4, 2019 in Hartford. She was born on September 23, 1929 in Geneva County to the late Arthur Wells and Mae Wells (Tindell).

 

Jeanette was proud to be a charter member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Dothan and was faithful until her health declined. Her late husband Charlie B. Ogburn spoiled her anytime he could. She enjoyed accompanying him on his sales routes with Higdon Grocery Company when time allowed. Jeanette always looked forward to her weekly appointments at the beauty shop. Red was her favorite color.

 

Burial will be private at Memory Hill Cemetery.

 

She is survived by family members: Robert Sammons (Glenda) and many nephew and niece in-laws and cousins.
