Jimmy Ray Andrews (52) of Goodman/Enterprise passed away at Southeast Alabama Medical Center on Monday, July 3, 2017 following a brief illness.

 

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 7, 2017 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise with Rev. Wayne Adams officiating.  Burial will follow in Goodman Baptist Church Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday beginning at 10:00 and continuing until service time.

 

The family requests casual dress for the service.

 

Jimmy was born January 26, 1965, in Coffee County.  He was preceded in death by his father, Lewis Charles Andrews; his maternal grandparents, John and Willie Mae Jerkins of New Brockton; his paternal grandparents, Milton and Jewel C. Andrews of Enterprise; daughter, Christa Adkins of New Brockton.

 

Survivors include his son, Shey Adkins of New Brockton; two grandchildren: Endia Oates and Seth Smith; mother, Margaret Riggle of Goodman; brother, Maxie Andrews of Goodman; two sisters: Diane Turner (Gary) and Charlene Andrews Ward (Jason), all of New Brockton; several nieces and nephews.
