Joanna Merle Ashworth, age 77, of Enterprise AL, passed away, Wednesday, October 19, 2016 in Enterprise.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, October 22, 2016 at First Baptist Church of Level Plains with Rev. Mike Foreman officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday beginning at 1:00 P.M.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Kidney Foundation or to the First Baptist Church of Level Plains Building Fund.

Joanna was preceded in death by her parents, Cal and Vivian Dean; son-in-law, Mike Waters; four great-grandchildren, Jackson, Kaleigh, Grayson and Bailey Walker.

Survivors include her children, Margie Waters, Enterprise, AL; Anna (Ben) Hellums, Center, AL; Adrian (Leslie) Ashworth, Dothan, AL; Mike (Marie) Ashworth, Dothan, AL; Kathy (Steve) Howell, Decatur, IL; sister, Cindy (Doug) Bridges, West Virginia; brothers, Jerome (Martha) Dean, West Virginia; Wallace (Rosie) Dean, Pennsylvania; 11 grandchildren, April (Trint) Connell; Eric Waters; Amy (Travis) Barnes; Kimberly (Adam) Mulliner; Lincoln (Raven) Ashworth; Ashley (Josh) Nix; Aaron (Hannah) Ashworth; Matthew Ashworth; Emily (Corey) Varden; Duncan Hellums; Alex Ashworth; 12 great-grandchildren.
