John Barton Blake II of Enterprise passed away on Friday, July 14, 2017 at Flowers Hospital.  He was 79.

 

Memorial services will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 16, 2017 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday beginning at 2:00 and continuing until service time.

 

Bart was born July 13, 1938 in New London, CT to the late John B. Blake and Louise Allen Blake.  He served in the United States Army and was the owner and operator of Blake’s Cabinet Shop for 55 years.

 

Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Dorothy Blake of Enterprise; two daughters: Diana Spivey (Marshall) of Jack and Sheila Prescott (Wayne) of Enterprise; two sons: Andrew Weissenberger (Crystal) of Enterprise and Stephen Weissenberger of Mauston, WI; sister, Suzanne Sprague (John) of Fort Plain, NY; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
