John Dennis Pittman of New Brockton passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2017.  He was 41.

 

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 20, 2017 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise with Rev. Mike Medley officiating.  Burial will follow in Bethany Baptist Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday beginning at 1:00 p.m. and continuing until service time. 

 

John was born March 30, 1976, in Enterprise.  He was a generous person as well as a gifted song writer and talented musician.  He wrote the theme song for a Destin radio station and played at Bama Jam.

 

Survivors include his parents, Leon and Bobbie Pittman of New Brockton; sister, Suzy Pittman Luchner (Tom) of Enterprise; brother, James Pittman (Rika) of Hoover; nieces and nephews: Victoria Luchner, Zach Pittman, and Emma Pittman.
