John Henry Littlefield, 86, of Columbia, died Friday, April 5, 2019 at Southeast Health Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, April 8, 2019, at Glover Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Nash Wills and Reverend Don Tew officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Kendall Glover directing. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 1:45 pm prior to service time on Monday. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family c/o Linda Eaton, PO Box 774, Dothan, AL, 36302.

Mr. Littlefield was born November 1, 1932, in Dale County, AL to John Everett and Berth Greene Littlefield.  He worked as a pipefitter in the construction industry.  He was employed with the Farley Nuclear Plant, Daniels Construction, Charles Mfg., Kingsford Charcoal Plant and Oakley Gin Co. in Columbia. 

Mr. Littlefield is predeceased by his parents; 1 sister Virginia Littlefield Durham and 1 brother Jessie James Littlefield.

Survivors include his wife of 15 years, Margaret Ann Littlefield of Columbia; eight children, Christine Webb (Arthur) of Headland, Betty Jean Danford (Ed Boyd) of Louisville, Martha Maddox of Dothan, Linda Eaton (David) of Dothan, Marsha Littlefield of Thomasville, GA, Johnny J. Littlefield, Jr. (Myra) of Dothan, Jimmy Littlefield (Cheryl) of Webb, and Charles Joey Littlefield (Wendy Bucklew) of Cottonwood; mother of his 7 children Mary Littlefield Parker of Dothan; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be:  Adam Eaton, Chad McFay, Josh Littlefield, Tyrin Crews, Brandon Adams, Steven Hull.
