John Lashley of Westville, FL passd away on Wednesday, February 20, 2019. He was 89 years old.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 25, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva with Rev. Rodd Jones officiating.  Burial will follow in Leonia Baptist Church Cemetary with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Mr. Lashley was born in Elba, (Coffee County) AL on June 14, 1929 to the late Ace and Annie Lee (Wright) Lashley. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.  He wanted everyone to know how much he loved the Lord and was thankful for his many blessings. He truly loved his church family at Leonia Baptist Church and missed being able to attend these last few years.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Syble Lashley, 9 siblings, and a grandson.

He is survived by three sons, John Lashley (Lois) of Brooksville,FL, Dan Lashley (Judy) of Belvidere, IL, Gary Lashley (Terry) of Mount Dora, FL; one daughter, DebbieMack (Gary) of Marianna, FL, eight grandchildren.
