AIKEN, S.C. . .John Scott Corbin, a resident of Aiken, S.C., died Sunday, July 17, 2016, at the home of his parents in Summerville, S.C. He was 51.

            Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. (C.D.T.) Wednesday, July 20, 2016, in Gardens of Memory, between Headland & Dothan, Alabama, with Reverend Scotty Scott officiating. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 10:45 A.M. (C.D.T.) Wednesday at the mortuary.

            Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of South Carolina, 300 N. Cedar Street, Suite C2, Summerville, SC 29483,

            Mr. Scott was born in Bessemer, Alabama and reared in Statesboro, Georgia where he lived most of his life before moving to Aiken, S.C. He was formerly employed by Autoneum of Aiken.

            Surviving relatives include his wife, Tonya Brown Corbin, Aiken, S.C.; a daughter, Cassie Corbin, and a son, Jason Corbin (Ashlee), all of Portal, GA; his parents, Lowell and Judy Powers Corbin, Summerville, S.C.; two brothers, Keith Corbin (Allison), Statesboro, GA; and Jeff Corbin (Kelly), Talladega, AL.
