JOHNNY  MICHEAL  BOLT, SR.

SHORTERVILLE. . .Johnny Micheal Bolt, Sr., a resident of Shorterville, died Saturday night, April 14, 2018, of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident, which occurred near his home. He was 66.

            Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at the residence, 2807 County Road 91, Abbeville, (Shorterville Community). At other times, the family will be at the home of a son, Virgil Bolt, in the Tumbleton Community.

            In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, P.O. Box 650309, Dept. 41831, Dallas, TX 75265.

            Mr. Bolt was born in Alexander City, Alabama and was reared in Eufaula, son of he the late Virgil Gloves Bolt and Dora Gladys Bowen Bolt. He lived in Walls, Mississippi thirty-five years before moving to Shorterville in 2014. He was retired as a truck driver and was formerly employed as a boilermaker. Mr. Bolt was an avid fisherman and duck hunter. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosa D. Bolt.

            Surviving relatives incude his fiance’, Linda Terry, Hernando, MS; a daughter, Terra Stafford (Jessie), Abbeville; three sons, Johnny M. Bolt, Jr. (Stacey), Dothan; Virgil Bolt (Tamra), Headland; Joseph Bolt (Whitney), Headland; three sisters, Janie Diamond (Ronnie), Andalusia; Diane Sanders (Elbert), Valley, AL; and Jean McVay (Donnie), Orlando, FL; eleven grandchildren, Noah Stafford, Lindsay Bolt, Micheal Bolt, Trent Butler, Seth Butler, Morgan Bolt, Tyler Bolt, Kaden Bolt, Brooke Bolt, J.T.Bolt and Stella Bolt.
