Jonathan Jeffery “JJ” Baker, a resident of Ozark passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 in Destin, Florida. He was 28 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at the Sunset Funeral home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 2-3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

JJ was born August 28, 1990 in Ft. Rucker, AL and lived the early part of his life in Ozark, AL and Panama City, FL where he was a 2008 graduate of Bay County High School. He was employed with Chaney Construction in Blue Springs, AL. JJ was an avid Alabama Football Fan, enjoyed listening to music and reading.

Survivors include his parents, John and Marion Baker; a daughter, Brooklynn Michelle Baker; sister, Dominique Baker; a niece, Kaycelynn Baker; aunts and uncles, Willie Henry (Stephanie) Baker, Willie Junior Baker, Homer Lee Baker, Johnnie Mae Nickerson, Robert Baker, Bernd Reith, and Ulrike Reith; a host of cousins and friends.
