JUDY  BLALOCK  BEASLEY

ABBEVILLE. . .Judy Blalock Beasley, a resident of Abbeville, died Tuesday night, April 17, 2018, in a Dothan hospital. She was 73.

            Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, April 20, 2018, in the Hickory Grove Free Will Baptist Church with Reverend Thomas D. Gamble officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Holman-Abbeville Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Thursday at the mortuary.

            Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Hickory Grove Free Will Baptist Church, 939 Hickory Grove Road, Abbeville, AL 36310.

            Mrs. Beasley was born and reared in Abbeville, daughter of the late Charlie Littleton Blalock and Iona Jewell Blankenship Blalock. She lived in various locations in the United States while her husband served in the military and returned to Abbeville in 1984. Mrs. Beasley was a member of the Hickory Grove Free Will Baptist Church. She was formerly employed by Cutler Egg Products. Mrs. Beasley was preceded in death by a son, David Cabiness Beasley, a sister, Mary Lee and a brother, Clarence Blalock.

            Surviving relatives include her husband, Cabiness Daniel Beasley; a daughter, Penny Rogers (Glenn), two sons, Toney Beasley and Bryant Beasley (Teresa), all of Abbeville; a sister, Martha Hendricks, Abbeville; a brother, Joe Blalock (Beverly), Ashford; ten grandchildren, Sabrina Rogers, Walker Whitehead, Shannon Whitehead, Stephen Beasley, Stephanie and Robin Beasley, Jessica Beasley, Samantha Beasley, Cortney Beasley and Jamie Whitehead; ten great-grandchildren.
