Katherine B. Dallas passed away Friday, July 8, 2016 at her residence in Ariton, Alabama.  She was 77.  

Katherine was a prolific state champion quilter who enjoyed hanging with her quilting bunch.  She was an animal rights activist and supported the Humane Society. 

Katherine was preceded in death by her parents, Seymour and Elizabeth Parker, and a brother, John Parker.

She is survived by three daughters, Georgia, Robin and Susan, and son, Keith; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren; her partner and best friend, Jim Denniston; her sister Julie Davis.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
