KATHLEEN MONEY WILSON
ABBEVILLE. . .Kathleen Money Wilson, a resident of Abbeville, died early Saturday evening, July 9, 2016, at her home. She was 91.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, July 11, 2016, in the Holman-Abbeville Mortuary Chapel with Reverend W. E. Brown and Lamar Buxton officiating. Burial will follow in the Pilgrim’s Rest Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Monday at the mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pilgrim’s Rest Free Will Baptist Church, c/o Lamar Buxton, 7320 State Highway 10, East, Abbeville, AL 36310.
Mrs. Wilson was born and reared in the Pilgrim’s Rest community of Henry County, daughter of the late Jessie Albert Money and Alice Davis Money. She was a member of the Pilgrim’s Rest Free Will Baptist Church. Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her husband, Carl V. Wilson, her daughter, Margie Wilson Dukes, a sister, Gladys Wilson, and two brothers, Herman Money and Earl Money, and a niece, Vangie (Dink) Money.
Surviving relatives include her grandson, Michael L. Dukes (Amy), Dothan; three great-grandchildren, Dylan Dukes, Megan Dukes, and Madison Dukes; nieces, Janice Herndon, Tammy Riley and Kim Hall; a nephew, Buddy Wilson.
