Kathryn Elizabeth Knowles, a resident of Ashford passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at a local hospital. She was 68 years old.

Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Antioch Baptist Church with Rev. Greg Aman officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.

Ms. Knowles was born on January 21, 1949 in Tampa, Florida and spent the early part of her life there. She moved to Cowarts in 1976 where she was a homemaker. She enjoyed nature and spending time outdoors; gardening and raising flowers, wildlife watching, and fishing.

Survivors include her children, Ronald Max (Valerie) Oliver, Jr. and Rhonda (Mark) Shehee; her grandchildren, Rachel Oliver, Mitch Oliver, and Cody Brown; her great-grandchildren, Mason Howell, Rai Oliver, Kai Oliver, and Elizabeth Faye Brown.
