LaDon Vinson Exum, age 64, formerly of Ashford, passed away Friday, June 9, 2017.

 

Born January 18, 1953 in Houston County to the late Vinson “R.C.” and Mary Kathleen Exum, LaDon attended Elba First Assembly of God Church. A retired truck driver, LaDon enjoyed country music and fishing.

 

In addition to his parents, LaDon is preceded in death by his sister, Colleen Pearce.

 

Survivors include his son, Stewart (Jessica) Exum; his grandchildren, Gracie, Jackson, and Ella Exum; a special nephew, Craig Pearce; his companion, Patsy Jordan; and numerous other relatives and friends.

 

Funeral services will be held at 10 AM, Tuesday, June 13, 2017 from the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Dewight Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 5 PM until 7 PM, Monday, June 12, 2017 at the funeral home.
