NAPIER FIELD. . .Laura Riley Edwards, a resident of Napier Field, died Wednesday morning, June 28, 2017, at her home. She was 68.


            Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, July 1, 2017, in the Grimes United Methodist Church with Reverend Tony Rosetta officiating. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Saturday, in the church sanctuary.


            In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grimes United Methodist Church, 404 Parramore Rd., Dothan, AL 36303.


            Mrs. Edwards was born in Morgantown, West VA and moved to West Palm Beach, FL as a child. She lived in Napier Field since 1991. Mrs. Edwards retired, due to disability, as a hair stylist. She was a member of the Grimes United Methodist Church. Mrs. Edwards was preceded in death by her father, William Russell Riley; her mother, Billie Anita Deusenberry; her step-father, Robert Conner; three children, Tracy Bagley, Larry Bagley, and Carrie Bagley; and a brother, Richard Riley.


            Surviving relatives include her husband, Michael Keith Edwards; a son, Brian Taylor (Vicki), Geneva; a step-daughter, Jennifer Barton (Matt), Enterprise; five sisters, Kathleen Garrard, Peggy Riley, Barbara Riley, Kandie Morris (Tim), and Rebecca Cook (Jimmy); two brothers, Patrick Riley and Shane Riley; four grandsons, Josh Taylor, Ben Taylor, Grayson Barton, and Jaxon Barton; several nieces and nephews.
