Lavonda Renae Wise of Geneva passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2016.  She was 52.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 23, 2016, in the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home in Geneva.  She will be interred with her late husband, Stephen Wise, at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.  The family will receive friends prior to the service on Wednesday, beginning at 10:30 a.m.

Mrs. Wise was born in Geneva, AL on July 12, 1964, to Jackie Martin Johnson and the late Pat Johnson.  She attended Terrebonne High School in Houma, LA and later attended Enterprise State Junior College and Wallace College.  She was employed as an interior designer.  In her pastime she enjoyed tending to her beautiful garden, going to the lake with her husband and beach trips with her family. She truly loved decorating and redecorating her home.  In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Bradley Wise; and her brother, Mike Johnson.

She is survived by her son, Dustin Charles Talbot, and wife, Lynsey, of Lafayette, LA; daughter, Nikole Leigh Paquette of Tallahassee, FL; four grandchildren, Nicholas and David Paquette, Atticus and soon to be born, Quentin Talbot; mother, Jackie Martin Cole; and two brothers, Terry Cole, Jr. of Altamonte Springs, FL and David Johnson, and wife, Paulette, of Mansfield, TX.
