Mrs. Lera Mae Green McKinnis, a resident of Ozark, passed away early Tuesday morning, August 9, 2016 in Oakview Manor Nursing Facility in Ozark. She was 99.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, August 12, 2016, in the Shiloh Seventh Day Adventist Church in Ozark. Burial will follow in the St. Rose A.M.E. Church Cemetery in Skipperville. Newman Mortuary of Ozark is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Thursday at the mortuary in Ozark.

She is survived by her three children Barbara Crittenden, (Robert) Ozark, Al; Melodie McKinnis Skipperville, Al; Robert McKinnis (LeKanjala) Ozark, Al. Five grandchildren: Reagan, Brandon, Adam, Erika, Robert John Tray; three great grandchildren: Jayidyn, Aubree, and Oliver. One sister: Evelyn Williams and one brother-in-law; Noah Harper Jr. one special niece Alice Beasley, and nephew David Bryant.
