     Mrs. Leslie Barbara Magrath, beloved Mother and Grandmother, unexpectedly passed away in her sleep Sunday, February 25, 2018.  The family will have a gathering of friends and family to celebrate Mrs. Magrath’s life Saturday afternoon, March 3, 2018 from 2-4 pm at Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home in Ozark.

     A native of Vermont and a graduate of the University of Vermont, Leslie moved to the Daleville area in the Fall of 1968.  She began her time in Daleville as a loyal, selfless and dedicated Mother of 3, providing all of her love, guidance and support for them.  She later became a longtime employee of Community Bank & Trust, where she worked for 27 years.   Leslie retired in 2010.  In retirement, she enjoyed her time, devoted to her house plants and gardening as well as an unending love for her pets.  She lived in Daleville for almost 50 years.

     She was predeceased by her father, Donald Eugene Grossmann; her mother, Beverly Gail Grossmann; and one son Donald Scott Magrath.  She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Tracie Magrath of Daleville; and her son, James Patrick Magrath of Newnan, Georgia; and 7 grandchildren; Kristopher Cody Magrath, Donald Scott Magrath, Jr., James Patrick Magrath, Jr., Colin Andrew Magrath, Katharine Lee Magrath, Philip Craig Waters, and James Wyatt Waters.
