Levy Earl Miro, 62, of 2645 Halls Mill Road, Dothan, died Thursday, May 19, 2016 following a long battle with cancer.

Levy was born March 12, 1954 in Panama City, FL. He also lived in Lumberton, MS, Montgomery, AL, and settled in Dothan in 1987. He loved working outdoors and had an amazing green thumb. He earned his living many ways including landscaping and pouring concrete. His last employer was E & H Steel. He will be remembered for his willingness to help others and his irritating habit of telling you how things "should" be done.

Levy was preceded in death by his daughter, Vanessa Karyl Brady, and his sister, Francis Ivanoff a few years ago. Survivors include his son, John Miro of Midland City, three grandchildren, Skylar, Kayla, and Madyson Miro, his brother, John Lee Miro (Bia) of Dover, Delaware, his sister, Linda "Snuffy" Riley of Panama City, his sister, Clarissa Hamilton (Rick) of Mobile, AL, many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, two "sisters by another mother", Teresa Gray and Mary Lou Grantham, of Panama City, and his ex-wife, Nancy Andres of Dothan, who was "still the boss of him".

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 1300 Clay Avenue, Panama City, FL with a graveside service to follow at Southerland Cemetery.
