HEADLAND. . .Linda Hamm Snellgrove, a resident of Headland, died Thursday morning, July 26, 2018, in a Dothan hospital. She was 80.

  Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, July 29, 2018, in the Bethlehem Baptist Church with Reverend Norman C. Simmons and Reverend Ricky Sowell officiating. Graveside services will follow in the church cemetery with Reverend Tim McCraney officiating. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 P.M. Sunday in the church sanctuary.

  Mrs. Snellgrove was born and reared in the Bethlehem Community, near Headland, daughter of the late Rupert Bryan Hamm and Viola Taylor Hamm. She was a 1957 graduate of Headland High School and was chosen “Miss Headland”. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. Mrs. Snellgrove was preceded in death by an infant son, two brothers, Shelby Lee Hamm and Hubert Hamm.

  Surviving relatives include her husband, Durelle M. Snellgrove; a daughter, Dana Snellgrove, a brother, Carroll Hamm (Ruth), all of Headland; two sisters-in-law, Betty McCraney and Aline Snellgrove.
