Linda Money Ferguson, a resident of Columbia, died early Sunday morning, July 23, 2017, at her home. She was 68.


            Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 26, 2017, in the Shiloh Free Will Baptist Church with Reverend Larry Dykes and Reverend William Crook officiating. Burial will follow in the Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at the mortuary in Headland.


            Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Kindred Hospice, 2740 Headland Avenue, Dothan, AL 36303.


            Mrs. Ferguson was born in Blakely, Georgia and was reared in Columbia, daughter of the late Herman Gerald Money and Florine Sexton Money. She was a member of the Shiloh Free Will Baptist Church. Mrs. Ferguson was retired as a School Bus Driver from the Houston County Board of Education at the Houston County High School.


            Surviving relatives include her husband, Walter Emmett Ferguson; a daughter, Judith Ferguson, Ozark; two sons, Scott Ferguson (Jennifer), Jacksonville, FL; and Jeremy Ferguson, Columbia; a sister, Judy Duke (Hubert Earl), Columbia; a brother, Herman (Buck) Money (Faye), Cottonwood; two grandchildren, Jordyn Ferguson and Jack Ferguson; mother-in-law, Elnora Ferguson, Blakely, GA; sister-in-law, Patricia Connor, Honolulu, HI; three brothers-in-law, Billy Ferguson (Peggy), Grand Bay, AL, Henry Paul Ferguson, Covington, GA, and Robert Ferguson (Karen), Dothan.
