WEBB. . .Linda Tice Kirkland, a resident of Webb, died Tuesday morning, December 5, 2017, at her home. She was 64.

            Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, December 8, 2017, in Center Baptist Church in Webb with Dr. Charles Pierce officiating. Burial will follow in the Center Baptist Church Cemetery. Holman Headland Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. in the mortuary. At other times, the family will be at the home a daughter, Shannon Laney, 1351 Pleasant Grove Road, Ashford, AL.

            Mrs. Kirkland, daughter of the late A C Tice and Flossie Roney Tice, was a native of Dothan having lived most of her lifetime in Webb. She was retired from Wex-Tex in Ashford and in later years she retired from Southeast Alabama Medical Center.  Mrs. Kirkland was a member of the Center Baptist Church in Webb. She was preceded in death by her sister, Margie Parker.

            Surviving relatives include her husband, Ernie Kirkland; three daughters, Shannon Laney (Bryan), Ashford; Amanda Kirkland and Dana Kirkland, both of Webb; two brothers, Randolph Tice, Ozark; and Gerald Tice (Diane), Dothan; eight grandchildren, Rebecca Harper (Nathan), Rachel Laney, Dalton Thorne, Savannah Thorne, Stephanie Thorne, Alexis Thorne, Chloe Thorne and Abigail Thorne.

            Serving as active pallbearers will be Bryan Laney, Nathan Harper, Larry Forrester, Craig Forrester, Byron Ingram and Matt McCraney.
