Linda Zorn Barker of Samson passed away on Friday, December 28, 2018 at her home. She was 68 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, December 31, 2018 in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home with the Rev. Norman Simmons officiating. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at Limestone Cemetery in Darlington, FL with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday beginning at 5:00 p.m. and will continue until service time at 7:00 p.m.

The family request that flowers be omitted and that memorial contributions be made to a charity of your choice.

Linda, who was affectionately known as, “Sweet Thing” by her loving and devoted husband, was born in Geneva County, AL to the late Howard and Lucy Brasington Zorn. She enjoyed shopping and collecting antiques. She worked with the United States Postal Service for 29 years as a rural mail carrier.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by one brother, Jerry Zorn.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 51 years, Gary H. Barker of Samson; 14 brothers and sisters-in-law; and 31 special nieces and nephews.
