Lizzie Ann Strickland, a resident of Eufaula, AL passed away on Monday, August 27, 2018, at Medical Center Barbour. She was 50 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 31, 2018 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Clyde Hancock officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Lizzie was born December 19, 1967, in Polk County, FL and lived most of her life in Ozark, AL. She has resided in Eufaula for the past 2 years. She was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant for several years. Lizzie loved being on the water and enjoyed fishing with family and friends. She attended Pleasant Hill Church in Eufaula.

Survivors include her children, Magan Strickland, Josh (Lisa) Strickland, and Ryan Ruiz; grandchildren, Mattie Grace Ruiz and Railey Watson; brother, Jimmy (Angel) Lomaneck, Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy and Annie Lomaneck, her husband, Billy Strickland, and her brother, Joseph Lomaneck.

Serving as pallbearers will be Josh Walker, Tony Williams, Josh Williams, Alan Strickland, Bobby Strickland, Michael McGowan, and Charles Walker.
