HEADLAND…Lois Kilcrease, a resident of Headland, died Thursday afternoon, January 19, 2017.  She was 83.      

            Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 21, 2017, in the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery, near the Ino Community, Coffee County with Reverend Danny Quincey officiating. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Friday at the mortuary in Headland.

            In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hebron Baptist Church, c/o Edwin Glover, 6952 Highway 134 East, Columbia, AL 36319.

             Mrs. Kilcrease was born and reared in the Ino Community of Coffee County, daughter of the late Claude Kilcrease and Odessa Batson Kilcrease. She lived most of her adult lifetime near Grimes before moving to the Hebron Community in 2008. Mrs. Kilcrease was a member of the Hebron Baptist Church. She was formerly employed by Dothan Oil Mill Company in Headland. Mrs. Kilcrease was preceded in death by her husband, Sherman Kilcrease, and a sister, Foye Kimbro.

            Surviving relatives include two daughters, Lynne Savelle (Larry), and Claudette Kilcrease, both of Headland; two grandchildren, Bryan Savelle (April), and David Savelle; two great-grandchildren, Carter Savelle and Lucas Urbano; a niece, Tena Jackson.
