Louis Wyatt Hardy, of Ozark, Alabama passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2016 at his residence. He was 76 years old.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 27, 2016 at 3:00 pm in the Earl Bankston Memorial Chapel in Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home in Ozark with Pastor Randy Adams officiating. Visitation will take place from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm prior to the service at Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens with Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Hardy was the son of Arthur and Ruby Hardy and the Father of Wyatt and Keith Hardy; Grandfather of Amanda, Wyatt, Princess, Savannah and Elvis Hardy; and Great Grandfather of Angel, Neviah, Natalie, Heaven, Myalie, and Breylie.
Louis, affectionately known as “Papa,” was born on October 22, 1940 in Isola, Mississippi and lived most of his life in Ozark. He was the founder of Hardy’s Asphalt Paving. He was a huge family man and he loved all of this family but most importantly he put his beautiful wife “Sister” ahead of all and he loved and cherished her dearly. Louis was very proud of his sons and their success. He was a funny man, always full of jokes, who could put a smile on anybody’s face no matter who they were. His memories will be unforgettable and he will be dearly missed by those he touched and loved.
Pallbearers will be Wyatt, Keith, Princess, Savannah, Elvis, Trey and Alan.
