Louise Williamson of Enterprise passed away Monday, May 23, 2016 at Bay Medical Center in Panama City, FL.  She was 92 . 


Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, May 26, 2016 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Dr. Bob Phares officiating.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday and continuing until service time. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Luke United Methodist Church, 201 Heath Street, Enterprise, AL 36330. 


Mrs. Williamson was born in Fredonia, AL to Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Leverett.  She attended school in Hogansville, GA, and was a graduate of Hogansville High School, and also a graduate of Tift College.  She married Thomas Edwin Williamson of Carrollton, GA and moved to Enterprise. She taught for 29 years at Enterprise High School.  She was a charter member of St. Luke UMC and taught adult Sunday School for 25 years and she served on various committees in the church.  She was a member of the Alabama Education Association, Enterprise Education Association, Sesame Study Club and Chautauqua Club.          


She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Edwin Williamson and two sisters, Mary Boswell and Jamie Whipple. 


Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Michael (Judy) Williamson, Panama City Beach, FL; niece, Cynthia Brazell, Franklin, GA; nephew, Charles Whipple III, Tryon, SC; several great-nieces and great-nephews.
