Luise Cohen, 76, of Daleville, passed away Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Ozark Health and Rehab Center.

 

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at the Earl Bankston  Memorial Chapel of Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Goldsmith officiating. Burial will follow in Daleville Memorial Gardens with Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service time on Wednesday.

 

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Ozark Animal Shelter.

 

Mrs. Cohen was born May 14, 1941 in Germany. In 1974, she and her family moved to Daleville. She was employed with Civil Service at Ft. Rucker for over 30 years. Mrs. Cohen enjoyed watching golf and loved animals.

 

She is predeceased by her spouse, Jerome Cohen and a daughter, Ute Hamby.

 

Survivors include 2 sons, Lesley Cohen of Daleville, AL and William Cohen of Tacoma, WA; 2 grandchildren, Carolyn Hamby and Christy Viola.
