Guadalupe "Lupe" Garcia, 60, a resident of Dothan passed away Friday, August 5, 2016 at a local hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Simmons officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Garcia was born on December 18, 1955 in Wilmer, Texas and lived the early part of his life there. He moved to Dothan 27 years ago and was employed with Twitchell Corp as a machine operator for the past 20 years. He was an Alabama Football fan and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his son, Adrian Garcia; his grandchildren, Ethan S. Garcia, Colby R. Garcia, and Gabriel M. Garcia; his brother, David Garcia; his sisters, Andrea (Cornelio) Espinoza, Hope (Luis) Alderete, Mary (Jessie) Rodriguez, and Sylvia Garcia; numerous nieces and nephews.
