Martha Marie Childree age 83 of Webb died Wednesday afternoon March 14, 2018 at Westside Terrace Health Care in Dothan.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 18, 2018 in the Abbeville Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Gary Johnson of Christ Church International Dothan officiating and Family First Funeral Care directing.

Mrs. Childree was born in Abbeville, Alabama daughter of the late Stanley H. Pittman and Lucy Dawkins Pittman.  She lived her early years in Abbeville and enjoyed her school days there.  She later left Abbeville to attend boarding school and graduated from the nursing program at Wallace Community College.  She worked as an LPN and was a member of Christ Church International in Dothan.

Mrs. Childree was also preceded in death by her only sister Stanley Pittman Williams who resided in Headland.  Survivors include her daughters Kim (Steve) Hesch of Mt. Holly, NC, Cheryl (Danny) Mills of Garland, TX, a son Craig (Kathy) Childree of Brandon, FL, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive.
