Mary Ann “MeMe” Lolley Tolar, 68, a resident of Ashford, passed away Monday, May 28, 2018 at her residence following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m.  Friday, June 1, 2018 at New Freedom Church in Webb with Reverend Larry Adams and her son, Reverend Jason Tolar officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Kendall Glover directing. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.

Flowers are being accepted or contributions may be made to Wallace Community College Foundation, 1141 Wallace Drive, Dothan, AL, 36303.

Mrs. Tolar was born November 1, 1949 in Samson Alabama to Hollis and Lillian Ileta Weeks Lolley and was a 1967 graduate of Samson High School. She was employed with DCI/Renal Hypertension in the accounts receivable department for 21 years prior to her retirement. Mrs. Tolar attended New Freedom Church.

Mrs. Tolar is predeceased by her parents and  a sister, Sue Johnson.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Warren “Leslie” Tolar of Ashford; two sons, Todd Tolar of Dothan and Jason Tolar (Kellie) of Cottonwood; a brother, Bennie Charles Lolley (Ruth) of Phenix City, AL; a brother-in-law, Guy Johnson of Enterprise; a special friend, Jewell Varnum of Cottonwood; a grandchild, Warren Caleb Tolar (Courtney) of Ashford; a great grandchild, Lacie Tolar (arriving in August), of Ashford.

Serving as active pallbearers will be Tim Tolar, Eric Tolar, Jerome Hinson, David Reed, Keith Evans, and Jamie Dykes.
