Mrs. Mary Ellen Paschal Stewart of Enterprise passed away on Friday, March 17, 2017 at Hartford Health Care.  She was 83.

 

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 20, 2017 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise.  Burial will follow in Meadlowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday beginning at 1:00 and continuing until service time.

 

Mrs. Stewart was born February 5, 1934, in Dale County.  She worked for many years in the accounting department at Enterprise Medical Clinic prior to her retirement.  She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Enterprise.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Hulon Stewart; her parents, Grover and Gladys Miller Paschal; and two brothers: Grady Paschal and John Paschal.

 

Survivors include son, James Daniel Stewart (Dee) of Batesburg, South Carolina; daughter, Freida Stewart of Enterprise; two grandchildren: Erica Lutz (Tim) and Christopher Stewart; three great grandchildren: Andrew, Matthew, and Emma Lutz.
