Mary Frances Loftin Linzey passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, March 10, 2019.  She was 90 years old and lived in the Sweet Gum Head Community of Westville, Florida.


Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 14, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva, Alabama with the Rev. Billy Locke officiating.  Burial will follow in the Hurricane Creek Cemetery in Westville, Florida with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel and continue until service time.


Mary was born in Dale County Alabama on March 23, 1928 to the late Thomas Henry Loftin and Lonie Mae McKenzie.  Ms. Mary was one of the most humble, kindest, sweetest, caring and precious souls ever known.  She was a loving and devoted wife to her husband for 54 years and to her children and grandchildren.  She was a member of Hurricane Creek Baptist Church.  She enjoyed fishing with her husband, Mr. Al, and she enjoyed going out to eat and watching movies with her daughters.  She loved her children and grandchildren dearly and looked forward to holidays and special occasions when all of her family could be together.  She was a very special lady and will forever be missed by all who loved her.


Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Aubrey (Al); three grandchildren: Brad Brock, Linzey McInnis, and Brandi Linzey; son-in-law, Carlton Spears and her siblings: J.W. Rachel, George Rachel, Dewey Rachel, Grover Head, D.L. Head, and Linda Gayle Harcus.


She is survived by her four daughters and son-in-laws: Barbara Joyce Reeves Spears, Westville, FL; Janice Marie Reeves Brock (Jimmy), Geneva, AL; Mary Ann Reeves Petty (Jerry), Westville, FL, and Tonya Lyn Linzey McInnis (Matthew), Geneva, AL; and one stepson: Aubrey Dale Linzey, Dearing, GA.  Nine grandchildren: Tammy Robinson (J.C.), Amie Torres (Ozzy), Jessica Day (Greg), Jeremy Brock (Chelsea), Howard Petty (Wendy), Haley McMillian (Russell), Mattigan McInnis, Gabriel McInnis, and Tonya Dale Youngblood (Gary); fifteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.  She has four surviving sisters: Merle Rainey, Geneva, AL; Willodean Butts, LaGrange, GA; Mary Jane Owens (Ronnie), Enterprise, AL and Martha Newberry, Huntsville, AL and many nieces and nephews. 


Serving as pallbearers will be Howard Petty, Jeremy Brock, Gabriel McInnis, Ronnie Owens, Teddy Fain, and H.R. Harrison.
