Mary Kay Hancock Jones of Geneva passed away on Tuesday, May 15, 2018. She was 50 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Maple Avenue Baptist Church with Rev. Damon Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday beginning at 1:00 p.m. 

Kay was born on July 29, 1967 to Herman Keith and Mary Frances Riley Hancock, Sr. She was a 1985 graduate of Geneva High School and also a 1992 graduate of Wallace Community College with a degree in Respiratory Therapy. Kay was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vince Jones; and father, Herman Keith Hancock, Sr.

Survivors include one daughter, Kandice “Kady” Rogers and husband Travis of Wasilla, AK; one son, Kanon Jones of Samson; grandchildren, Leyton Ray, and Ayden Levi Rogers both of Wasilla, AK; mother, Mary Frances Hancock of Geneva; two brothers, Herman Keith Hancock, Jr and wife Brenda Jo of Montgomery, Kevin Hancock and wife Jessica of Brantley; mother-in-law, Martha Vandergrift of Samson.
