Mary M. Quesenberry, of Dothan, passed away November 20, 2017 at Extendicare Health Center. She was 96.


A graveside service will be 1 pm Friday November 24, 2017 in Cottonwood City Cemetery with Rev. John Baxter officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Denton Road United Methodist Church, 2410 Denton Road, Dothan, AL 36303.


Mrs. Quesenberry was born March 15, 1921 in Covington County, Alabama. She moved to Cottonwood at an early age and was a graduate of Cottonwood High School. Mrs. Quesenberry resided in Pennsylvania before moving to Dothan in 1980. She was a member at Denton Road United Methodist Church.


She is preceded in death by her parents Chester B. Gilmore and Carrie Paulk Gilmore; her husband, Leonard L. Quesenberry; her children, Alicia Lee Quesenberry and her twin infant sons.


Survivors include her sister, Eunice Owens and several nieces and nephews.
