Mary Roberta Williams Mathis of Geneva passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at Flowers Hospital. She was 63 years old.

The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.

Mrs. Mathis was born in Barbour County, AL on April 12, 1955 to the late Liggie Franklin and Minnie Lee Williams. She loved her family, friends, and K-9 companion, “Chico” very much.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Mathis; five brothers and sisters, Billy Frank Williams, Betty Jean Woodham, Martha Faye Luck, Johnny Mack Williams, and Debra Ann Braswell.

She is survived by two brothers, Douglas Lee Williams (Kathy) of Leesburg, GA, and James Larry Williams of Eufaula; one aunt, Mary Piland of Louisville, AL; and several nieces and nephews.
