Mattie Elaine Byrd of Enterprise, AL, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Flowers Hospital.  She was 77.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Rev. Matt Smith officiating.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1:00 PM until service time.

Survivors include her husband, Clarence L. Byrd, Enterprise, AL; daughter, Sherrie Byrd Hazim (Walid), Dubai; son, Jeffery Byrd (Chantal), Enterprise, AL; 5 grandchildren, Kristin Fall, Christopher Byrd, Nicholas Byrd, Sami Hazim, Ramzi Hazim; 4 great-grandchildren, Owen Fall, Abraham Fall, Asher Byrd, Nixon Byrd.
