Obituary: Melissa Sue Ashcom

 

Melissa Sue Ashcom, 42, of Slocomb passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017.

 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 7, 2017 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Slocomb with Rev. Terry Glover officiating.

 

Melissa was born May 18, 1975 in Johnstown, PA to Pamela Ashcom and the late Charles Robert Ashcom.

 

Survivors include her daughter, Sierra Sanders, Slocomb; mother, Pamela Ashcom, Newville; the father of her daughter, Randall Brady Sanders (Sandy Steedly), Slocomb; siblings: Carol Coddington (Rick), Newville, Tammy Woodham, Dothan, Charlene Lockner (Daniel), Dothan, Robert Ribaric (Renee), Johnstown, PA and Jonathan Severns (Sara), Japan; several nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
