Michael R. Jones of Chancellor went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 4, 2018 at Medical Center Enterprise surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was 58.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 7, 2018 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise with Rev. Joel Snell officiating. Burial will follow in Palatka Memorial Gardens in Palatka, Florida on Thursday. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday beginning at 1:00 and continuing until service time.

Mike was born January 1, 1960, in Paris, Tennessee. He retired from United States Departure of Agriculture in Miami Florida as a produce inspector. He was a Christian and possessed a generous spirit, showing his love in actions and deeds. He will be remembered as a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marinell Richey Jones.
Survivors include his son, Michael L. Jones (Caitlin) of Ozark; his step-daughter, Lorita B. Glica (John) of Jacksonville, FL; his father, Walter Ray Jones; his mother, Jacqueline Anderson Jones; two brothers: Thomas W. Jones (Linda) of Enterprise, and Gregory Jones (Deena) of Coffee Springs; sister, Kathy Jones Davis (Charles) of Chancellor; six grandchildren: Michaela, Alex, Alayna, Micah, Brandon, and Ashleigh.
