Mildred Ruth Evans of Geneva passed away on Friday, November 16, 2018. She was 53 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 20, 2018 in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Terry Smith and Rev. Donal Walsingham officiating. Burial will follow in Limestone Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, November 19, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

Mildred was born on August 4, 1965 to the late Regale “Buddy” and Lila McCormick Evans. Mildred enjoyed talking, singing, listening to Christmas music, and watching football, especially Alabama football. She was a loving and devoted mother, fiancé, sister, and friend, who will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her fiancé, Quintin Battles of Geneva; devoted and loving daughters, Chelsea Brock (Jeremy) of Geneva, and Megan Faulk (Bruce) of Dothan; her soon to be step-children, Nicholas and Tessa Battles both of Geneva; one sister, Rita Smith (Ronnie) of Darlington, FL; one grandson, Connor Brock of Geneva; niece, Ashley Huguley (Gavin); nephew, Joshua Smith; and a host of friends.
