Mrs. Mollie B. Jackson Crane of Dothan passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at her residence. She was 91.


Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Friday, April 6, 2018 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home with Reverend Allie Freeman officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.


The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 to 11 A.M. Friday, April 6, one hour prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Resource Center, 1314 Westgate Parkway, St. 2. P.O. Box 1170, Dothan, Al. 36302.


Mrs. Crane was born March 19, 1927 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She was the daughter of the late Henry A. Jackson and Georgia B. McGath Jackson. Mollie was an avid golfer, was President of Olympia Spa for 3 years; and Club Champion 5 years running. She also enjoyed traveling all over the country and abroad. Mollie lived her life with great passion and loved her Lord Jesus Christ even more. She was a lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church, of Dothan.


She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Conway O. Crane, two sons, James L. Crane (Ginger), Michael O. Crane (Shirl), three grandchildren, one brother Harold Jackson and many friends.


She is preceded in death by her four sisters.


Pallbearers will be Mike, Jay, Jamie, Bob Crane and Jason Sizemore.
