Mr. Charles Gordon Simons, age 77, of Ozark passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2016.
Born February 12, 1939 in Spencer, West Virginia to the late Charles Ofa and Lula Amma McGlauthlin Simons, Mr. Simons was a member of Rainbow Meadows Baptist Church. He moved to the Dothan area in 1979. He served his country in the United States Army and was a lifetime member of the DAV Chapter 87.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-son, Robert Neal.
Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Simmons Simons; his step-daughter, Debra Wambles; his brothers, Tony Simons, Marshall Simons, Averill Simons, and David Simons; his nephew, Joe Neal; six step-grandchildren; numerous other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 1 PM, Monday, May 9, 2016 at Memory Hill Cemetery with Reverend Don Clark officiating and Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.
