Mr. Christopher Larry McLain, of Dothan, passed away Thursday, August 4, 2016. He was 42.

 

Born March 25, 1974 in Dothan to Karen Barbree Cook and the late Daniel Webster McLain, Christopher lived in Blakely, GA during his early childhood and was a member of Southside Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and was an avid Auburn football fan. He was a fitness buff and enjoyed working out.

 

He is preceded in death by his father, Daniel Webster McLain.

 

Survivors include his mother, Karen Barbree Cook; his step-father, H. Lanier Cook; his daughters, Taylor Hayes McLain and Brooke Erin McLain; his brother, Stephen Daniel McLain; his sister-in-law, Stephanie Nichole McLain; his niece, Madyson Nichole McLain; and a host of other relatives and friends.

 

Funeral services will be held at 3 PM, Sunday, August 7, 2016 from the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Doug Seale officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 2 PM until 3 PM, one hour prior to the service.

 

The family will be accepting flowers.
