David Rodney Ray, a resident of Enterprise and formally Dothan, died Sunday, July 23, 2017 at his residence. He was 78.

 

Mr. Ray’s wishes were for cremation and no services are planned at this time.

 

Mr. Ray was born November 3, 1938 in Ashbyburg, Kentucky to the late William E. and Nora B. Collins Ray. He was a 26 year veteran in the military having served in the United States Air Force and retiring from the United States Army. Mr. Ray also served three tours in Vietnam.

 

Survivors include his children, Anthony Britt Ray, Michele Paek (Tae), Michael Ray (Jacqueline); grandchildren, Brennan Ray, Jamison Ray, Skyler Ray and Matthew Paek; two sisters, Becky Stoltenborg, Frances Grabill (Jim).
