Mr. Emmitt Royce Morgan of the Sellersville Community passed away on Friday, August 25, 2017.  He was 80.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 28, 2017, in the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Donnie Earles officiating.  Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva directing.  The family will receive friends prior to the service on Monday beginning at 10:00 a.m. 

Mr. Morgan was born in the Sellersville Community on July 17, 1937, to the late Grady and Ruthie Mae Morgan.  He served in the US Navy and later became a technician.  Prior to his retirement, Mr. Morgan had traveled to more than 55 countries setting up weather radar stations.  In his spare time, he truly loved to go fishing.  He was preceded death by a daughter, Deborah Gano.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-four years, Gloria J. Morgan; three sons, Danny Randall Morgan and wife, Sheila, Michael Morgan, all of Sellersville, and Sammy Kersey of Enterprise; two daughters, Vickie Szermeta  and husband, Gary, and Patricia Fleming, and husband, Wyman, all of the Piney Grove Community; two grandchildren, Heath Morgan, and wife Angelia of Black, AL, and Leah Jensen and husband, Kurt of Hartford; ten step-grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and sister, Shirley Green of the Sellersville Community.
