Mr. Gregory (Greg) Lamar McGrady, age 57, a resident of Dothan, died Monday January 1, 2018 at SAMC after an extended illness.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday January 4, 2018 at the Glover Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Randy Woodham officiating and Kendall Glover directing.

The family will be receiving friends from 1 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Thursday prior to services at the funeral home. At other times the family will be at the home of Martha and Frank Hawkins, 401 Darlington Circle, Dothan, AL. 36301.   In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to the Wiregrass Humane Society, P.O. Box 1045, Dothan, AL. 36302 or to the Wiregrass Food Bank, 382 Twitchell Rd., Dothan, AL. 36302.

Greg was born on September 10, 1960 in Dothan. He was the son of Edwin Lamar McGrady and Martha Outlaw McGrady.  He was a 1978 Graduate of Dothan High School and a member of the Southside Baptist Church.  Greg retired as a wastewater treatment plant operator with the City of Dothan following 27 years of service.  He also was in the lawn care service for over 40 years.

He was preceded in death by his father, a sister, Gina McGrady, a brother, Bill McGrady.

Survivors include: wife of 32 years, Mary Ann Turner McGrady; daughter, Emma McGrady; son, Patrick McGrady, all of Dothan; mother & step-father, Martha Outlaw McGrady & Frank Hawkins, Dothan; brother-in-law, Hadley Turner, Gulfport, MS.; special friends, Samuel and Ezra Hendrix, Dothan; special feline friend, “Rip”

Honorary pallbearers will be: Roscell Stringer, Dale Longrear, Bubba Grimsley, Tim Stacey, and Steve Hollenbeck.
